Summary

The article deals with the ideological principles and the existential practice of Ukrainian Christian conservatism. The important features and problematic range of topical issues of the existence of the Ukrainian Orthodox spiritual and national identity in the transcendental dimension have been outlined. The favorable and threatening factors for its approval have been determined. Thus, in particular, the ways of understanding, realization, comprehension and constant practical implementation of the basic constants of Christian conservatism in Ukrainian personal and public activity have been out lined. In the article proposed to national and foreign scientific and educational community, the general public in Ukraine and outside our country, eternal dominants of the national Christ-centric, Christ-oriented life, that have not yet been updated due to a number of unfavorable socio-historical circumstances, have been investigated. Valuesemantic basis for such study are the works and speeches of the founder of the independent Ukrainian Orthodox Church Metropolitan Vasyl Lypkivsky, the outstanding Ukrainian thinker Eugene Malaniuk, the prominent Ukrainian Orthodox philosopher born in Volyn, Yevhen Sverstiuk, diary observation of acad. Serhiy Yefremov, from which the true images of the Ukrainian peasants appear – the effective successors of the traditions of Volodymyr Baptism in the twentieth century, which was an occupational-atheist period as for the consciousness and existence of Orthodox Ukrainians. In the mentioned axiological context, the need to protect the spiritual and intellectual frontiers of our Motherland from the evil aggressors of all time and epochs has been emphasized. It is this protection of the Spirit and Word that provides effective protection of existential boundaries, saving every Christian personality and the Ukrainian Christian community as a whole from hybrid-simulation dangers and threats. Expected by the whole Ukrainian Orthodox community, the Tomos of the Ecumenical Patriarch is perceived in this context as a restoration of higher justice with respect to the people, who, by centuries-old ascetic and suffering for the faith of Christ, proved their right to always be in the family of Orthodox peoples.

Key words: Ukrainian Christian conservatism, spiritual-national identity, semiosphere, universe, transcendental, idea, existence.
