Summary

Racism existed but today it has taken on a large and varied dimension. However, racism is not only aimed at race and nation. Discrimination takes place both in people with disabilities, in appearance, in social class and on many other levels. However, racial and ethnic discrimination is widespread throughout the world. The purpose of this paper is to analyze and comment on the concepts Orthodoxy and Racial Discrimination΄΄ on the occasion of Inga Leonova’s text “Deafening Silence”. The conclusions show that in today’s age of globalization and the opening of borders (large numbers of immigrants around the world), the message of the universality of the Gospel is of great value. If the former is understood by the Orthodox Church then many people will be given the opportunity to receive their Salvation, through love but also society through people and the Triune God.
